Save the Date
Mark your calendars: September 25-27, 2017 edUi will return to Charlottesville, Virginia!
We’re looking forward to bringing you another great slate of world-class speakers on user interface and user experience design tailored specifically for web professionals working in higher education, libraries, and museums.
Keynote by Sara Wachter-Boechtter
And, while we’re talking about world-class speakers, we’re thrilled to announce Sara Wachter-Boechtter will be joining us! Sara will deliver the keynote “Design For Real Life.” This talk — based on the book of the same name, she co-authored with Eric Meyer (yeah, that Eric Meyer) — explores racial and gender bias in design and will show you how to craft interfaces and copy that are more inclusive and compassionate.
Sara runs a content strategy consultancy based in Philadelphia. She is also the author of Content Everywhere, a book about creating flexible, mobile-ready content. Sara works with clients like Trek Bicycles, The Associated Press, The Home Depot, and Harvard, and speaks at web conferences worldwide. Find her on Twitter @sara_ann_marie or at sarawb.com.
