A few weeks ago we announced our first keynote speaker for edUi 2017. And now we’re ready to tell you about the first of three workshop leaders we’re lining up for you!
Remember, one half-day workshop is included with every edUi registration at no additional charge. Everyone who wants a workshop at edUi gets a workshop. When registration opens up in April you’ll have your pick of one of three fantastic, in-depth, hands-on workshops including the following.
Nick is the director of Web Communications at Wayne State University. He takes an active role in the higher education web community by sharing his thoughts and real world analysis in the Wayne State Web Communications Blog. He is also the technical director for TEDxDetroit, a once a year conference to spread positive ideas for the world from Detroit.
With a background in computer science and library science, Nick has always been interested in user experience and accessibility. Part of his work at Wayne State includes reviewing and benchmarking other university websites. His personal web philosophy is to keep things light, simple and agile, always striving for simple solutions to complex problems.
At edUi 2017 Nick will lead a half-day workshop on how to get the most out of your analytics.
Using web analytics, Google Tag Manager, and A/B Testing, you’ll learn how to optimize your digital channels to understand what’s working and what’s not. This comprehensive, hands-on workshop will cover the basics of creating and implementing an analytics and digital measurement strategy.
Our call for proposals will open by the end of February. And we’re still working on two more workshops for you and a couple more keynote speakers, so stay tuned!
[Update: The call for proposals is now closed.]
