Focusing on the universal methods and tools of user interface and interaction design as well as the unique challenges of producing websites and applications for large institutions, EdUI is a perfect opportunity for web professionals in higher education, K-12 schools, government, and local and regional businesses to develop skills and share ideas.

EdUI offers a rare speaker lineup of top web innovators that will inspire and enlighten web designers, developers, managers, and user experience and interaction design professions from any industry.

Situated in the Blue Ridge foothills of Central Virginia, U.Va.’s historic Grounds provide a beautiful setting for this two-day event.

Celebrity Speaker Line-up

We are delighted that our speaking lineup so far includes Jared Spool, founder of User Interface Engineering, as keynote speaker, with Michael Wesch, Dana Chisnell, Molly Holzschlag, Dan Rubin, and David Poteet as headliners. Jared, Dana, Molly, Dan, and David are some of today’s top authors and speakers in web design and development. Michael Wesch, featured in the most recent issue of National Geographic magazine, is widely known for his popular Youtube videos on the social and cultural impact of new media.

Conference Program

The first day of the conference offers full-day workshops with Dana, Molly, Dan, and David allowing you to go deep into a single topic (or possibly a cluster of related topics), while the second day offers over a dozen shorter presentations, including four presentations by the first-day workshop leaders, the keynote by Jared Spool, a plenary by Michael Wesch, and sessions by your peers.
